Dr. Stroh Provides Compassionate & Personalized Health Care

Dr. Stroh's COVID 19 update

Our number one goal is to continue to provide the highest quality healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have made a few updates to our scheduling and office practices.

We will continue to offer telemedicine visits and phone visits as needed for anyone who would prefer not to come in in-person and for some types of sick visits. We are scheduling most types of appointments in the office with the understanding that the appointment may change to a telemedicine visit or phone visit, at the provider's discretion.

Please call us first before going to the ER or Urgent Care, but do not delay going in the event of a life-threatening emergency.

To protect our patients and our staff, we ask that you follow the instructions below if you come into the office for an appointment.

Measures for safety we are taking in the office:

  • Checking temperatures of all staff and patients on arrival.
  • Masks are worn by anyone entering the office. Please wear a non-medical cloth face covering or face shield over the nose and mouth.
  • We are pre-screening patients prior to their appointment including gathering information about any possible symptoms of illness or recent travel outside Mesa County. Notify our office prior to arriving for your appointment if you develop a fever or symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Call our office when you arrive and wait in your car. The receptionist will give you instructions.
  • Come to your appointment alone, unless you have a caregiver, or you are a parent of minor children that cannot be seen on their own. In this case, anyone over the age of two will require a mask.
  • We are spacing out appointments to allow for intensive deep cleaning between patients.
  • Waiting room is closed to avoid contamination and to conserve disinfecting resources which are limited.
  • We ARE doing blood draws in the office.
  • Most "nurse visits" for injections or finger stick labs will continue to be done in the parking lot. Patients coming to the parking lot for these services will need to be wearing a face covering.
These measures help limit traffic in and out of the office, therefore providing a safe environment for you and for our staff.

Please call if you need an order for testing for COVID 19 sent to a local lab due to symptoms or exposure. The Mesa County Health Dept and CMU offer free screening without an order as well.

We encourage you to get vaccinated for COVID-19 as soon as you become eligible.

Thank you for your understanding as we adjust to this unusual situation. The office is staffed, and phones are being answered per our usual Tuesday-Friday daytime schedule. Our 24hr on-call coverage has not changed.
